Overview:

Caltrans hired SGV to install drainage along the slope to avoid mudslide onto the freeway. Additionally, SGV was tasked with the construction of a new barrier wall and pavement replacement over an area of failing subgrade. This involved a 55 Hour Weekend Closure of freeway, night work. It also involved the use of rapid set concrete and phases. SGV used heavy equipment on a steep grade to re-grade and excavate a trench for a water drainage pipe.
