Paseo Rancho Castilla Road Work

Client: Cal State LA

Category: Federal and State

Location: El Sereno (Los Angeles), CA

About the Client:

California State University, Los Angeles’ proximity to civic, cultural, and economic centers enables it to foster strong cooperative relationships with alumni, community, business, scientific, educational, cultural, and government constituencies. Partnerships with these constituencies will continue to grow for the mutual enhancement of academic programs and the community.

Cal State LA tasked SGV Construction with demolishing and re-constructing parts of Paseo Rancho Castilla, a road that runs the length of the University, located off the 10 and 710 freeways near Downtown Los Angeles.

 SGV’s Solutions:

SGV demolished a section of concrete road pavement and backfilled with base. SGV then grinded remaining span of road surface. SGV completed work by laying new asphalt and striping.
